Just to let you know we had a great time in Barcelona with absolutely no complaints with Henorita. Emily met us at the airport and she was great; she spent time with us telling us the places to go and not to go! I will be recommending Henorita to anybody who is planning a girls trip abroad.

Both Standard Spanish (Castellano) and Valencian (the local language) are official languages in Valencia. Valenciano is most common in the smaller towns surrounding the city.
Any phrases you know in Spanish will be appreciated (such as "Hola" - Hello) and you may even win a few friends with a sortie into Valenciano (e.g. try "Bon dia" or good morning - but applicable till about 15:00 - instead of the standard Spanish "Buenos Días").
English is now widely spoken by people under 40 and in bars and night clubs! |
